Every relationship is different. Browse our specialty areas below to find the support that fits where you are. We’re here to help, whether you're navigating life changes, working through a difficult season, or simply wanting to grow closer.
-
Every couple has conflict. You might feel like you're having the same fight over and over, or that you've stopped really hearing each other. Maybe one of you withdraws while the other pushes harder, and the gap just keeps growing. That cycle is exhausting, and it's also incredibly common. The goal here isn't to stop disagreeing, but to learn how to disagree in a way that actually moves you forward instead of tearing things down.
In couples therapy, we'll focus on the patterns hiding underneath your arguments. We'll look at what triggers each of you, where conversations tend to derail, and how to rebuild a sense of safety when things get heated. You'll walk away with practical tools for speaking honestly without blame and listening openly without defense. Conflict doesn't have to be the thing that breaks you. It can be the thing that teaches you how to finally understand each other.

Trying to conceive can put a kind of pressure on a relationship that's hard to describe unless you've lived it. With the timing, the tracking, the hope and the heartbreak, it's common for one partner to feel consumed by it while the other tries to stay steady. That mismatch can leave both of you feeling alone. Sex often stops feeling like connection and starts feeling like a task. Grief shows up in different ways for each of you and it's easy to stop talking about what's really going on inside.
In our sessions, we'll create space for all of it. The anger, the sadness, the jealousy toward friends who get pregnant easily, the guilt over not being able to fix it for your partner. We'll work on communicating through the uncertainty and finding ways to support each other without losing yourselves. Whether you're just starting to try, navigating fertility treatments, or processing a difficult diagnosis, you don't have to carry this alone. We'll help you stay connected as a couple even when the path forward feels anything but clear.

Intimacy is often one of the first points or connection to suffer when life gets heavy. Maybe you're co-parenting like pros but can't remember the last time you felt truly close. Maybe one of you wants more physical connection and the other feels too drained or resentful to show up. It's easy to start interpreting those gaps as rejection or proof that something's wrong with you or the relationship. But more often than not, it's a sign that you've lost your rhythm, not that you've lost each other.
We'll work on rebuilding intimacy in a way that takes the pressure off. That means talking about what you actually want and miss, not just what you think you're supposed to want. It means addressing whatever is blocking closeness, whether that's unresolved hurt, exhaustion, mismatched desire, or just not knowing how to start again. We'll focus on small, real steps toward reconnection, not big dramatic fixes. Touch, eye contact, time alone, inside jokes, all of it matters. You can find your way back to each other.

Every couple faces challenges, but when you're LGBTQIA+, some of those challenges come with extra layers. You might be navigating different levels of being out with family, work, or friends. You might carry the weight of past rejection or discrimination that affects how safe it feels to be vulnerable. Maybe you're figuring out how to build a family in a world that doesn't always make it easy. Or maybe your struggles are the same as any other couple, but you've hesitated to reach out because you weren't sure a therapist would really get it.
This is a space where you don't have to explain or defend who you are. We understand the unique dynamics that can show up in queer relationships, from identity differences within the partnership to the impact of societal stress on your connection. Our focus is on your relationship, your goals, and what you need to feel seen, heard, and supported by each other. You deserve a space where all of who you are is welcome, not in spite of your identity but because of it.

Trauma doesn't just live inside one person. It shows up in relationships, and the deeper the connection, the more present our trauma can be. Maybe one of you has a history that makes trust feel dangerous or a past relationship that left you hypervigilant and quick to protect yourself. Maybe you're both carrying something heavy and neither of you knows how to talk about it without triggering each other. It can look like shutting down during conflict, blowing up over small things, struggling with physical closeness, or feeling like you're walking on eggshells. None of that means your relationship is broken.
In our work together, we'll take a gentle, grounded approach. We won't push for vulnerability before trust is there. We'll help you understand how trauma shows up in your patterns and reactions, and we'll build skills for regulating yourselves and supporting each other when things get hard. You'll learn to recognize when the past is louder than the present and how to find your way back to each other. Healing doesn't mean erasing what happened. It means your story doesn't get to keep writing your future.

Having a baby changes everything, and no one really prepares you for how much it affects your relationship. You're exhausted, running on fumes, and the person you used to lean on might feel like a stranger or a roommate you're sharing logistics with. Maybe one of you is home with the baby while the other works, and resentment is quietly building on both sides. Maybe intimacy has completely fallen off and you're not sure how to start again. It's incredibly common, and it doesn't mean something is wrong with you or your partnership.
We'll help you find your footing as a team again. That means talking honestly about the uneven load, the loss of your old selves, and the grief that can come alongside the joy of having a child. We'll work on communication that doesn't require a full night's sleep to get right, and we'll find small ways to reconnect even when you're both tapped out. Your relationship mattered before the baby arrived, and it still matters now. You can be good parents and still take care of what you have together.

Spirituality can be a source of deep connection or deep tension in a relationship. Maybe you and your partner grew up in different religious traditions and you're trying to figure out how to build a life together. Maybe one of you is going through a faith deconstruction while the other is still firmly rooted, and that gap feels impossible to bridge. Or maybe one partner carries religious trauma that makes certain conversations or traditions feel unsafe, and the other doesn't fully understand why. These are tender, complicated places to navigate, and they deserve care.
We'll create space for all of it. That means honoring where each of you is without trying to convert, fix, or convince the other. We'll help you talk about your beliefs and your doubts in a way that doesn't feel like a threat. For those carrying religious trauma, we'll work at your pace with care. Whether you're trying to find common ground, support each other through a faith transition, or heal from harm that was done in the name of religion, you don't have to figure it out alone. Your relationship can hold the complexity.
